HOW CHILDREN LEARN: EXPLORING THE IMPORTANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNICATION IN THE EARLY YEARS

Fawns will be attending the Early Years Conference which will be held at Park Crescent Conference Centre, London on the 22nd and 23rd September 2011

The Early Years 2011 event, in association with EYE, Practical PreSchool Magazine and Practical PreSchool Books, will provide delegates with:

- An opportunity to evaluate and discuss contemporary theories relating to communication and language development in young children

- Updates on current thinking, practice and opinion regarding communication in early years education

- Interactive workshops from experienced professionals that examine a wide range of different elements of communication in

early years settings

- A forum to meet and network with other members of the childcare workforce

- The opportunity to hear from key experts, from across a wide range of roles, in the childcare sector

- Latest research into the psychology of language and communication development in
relation to early years settings

- Practical information and ideas that will help shape provision, and inform professional development
